How green are your fingers? English Heritage is looking a Garden Supervisor to work at Witley Court in Worcestershire, the dramatic ruins of a once grand mansion.

"You'll be playing a vital role in developing the grounds at Witley Court And you'll find imaginative ways of bringing to life the stories that they tell, helping visitors of all ages to make new discoveries. Supervising an enthusiastic, dedicated team of gardeners and volunteers, you'll work closely with our Head Gardener to ensure the gardens and landscape are shown off to the highest standards of presentation. 

"We're looking for someone with a creative eye; high-quality garden experience; great plant knowledge and horticultural skills; and a talent for team supervision. You'll know how to ensure visitors enjoy their day out - from sharing your gardening knowledge, to ensuring their health and safety. The ability to use and demonstrate all necessary horticultural craft skills, machinery use and maintenance to the highest standards are also a must for this busy and dynamic role."

English Heritage cares for over 400 historic monuments, buildings and places that together attract more than 10 million visitors each year. 

This is a permanent role. 36 hours a week. 

Salary: £19,054
